Visit, Hollywood’s favorite film location in Morocco, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, and then Ouarzazate. Travel through the Ounila Valley and discover Kasbah Telouet. Cross the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-n-Tichka pass and arrive at Marrakech.

Morning departure from Agadir to Agdz passing by Taroudant, known as “the little Marrakech”. Here, you will tour the wall-enclosed medina, visit the local market, and photograph the massive walls.
Shortly after, arrive at Taliouine where you will visit the small saffron museum and have lunch. Driving further east, arrive at Taznakht, famous for its Berber rugs and carpets co-operatives.
Next, you will travel over the Anti-Atlas Mountains and via the Tizi-n-Tinfifte pass as far as Agdz. At night, a beautiful guest house at the edge of the valley offers dinner and a night’s rest.
After breakfast, you depart for Merzouga desert. You will visit Kasbah Tamnougalte, an adobe-built housing and the oldest Kasbah in the Dra’a Valley.
Shortly after, you drive off-road through the Dra’a Valley. This is the longest valley in the country and is full of palm trees and fortified kasbah. Your Agadir desert tour continues through Berber villages; N’Qob, Tazzarine, and Alnif. After lunch, we continue east as far as Errisani, the last town before the desert.
An hour’s camel ride leads to the summit of the sand dunes. From here, the sunset and the views of the sand dunes are spectacular. Back at the campsite, sip a welcoming glass of tea and check in to your private nomad tent.
At night, taste dinner under the starry sky and enjoy an evening of Berber music and drumming. Spend the night in a comfortable tent in a Merzouga desert camp among the towering dunes.
Wake up early in the morning and climb up to the top of the dunes. You will be rewarded with an amazing spectacle of the sunrise and experience moments of peacefulness.
Back at the campsite, you will have breakfast then we depart for Ouarzazate. The itinerary continues with a wonderful drive through many Berber villages; Rissani, Erfoud, and Tinghir. Here, you can go for a walk alongside the riverbank and learn about the daily life of the local Berbers.
Shortly after, you will visit the expansive and massive Toudgha Gorges and have lunch on the spot. If time allows and if you wish, you can hike around the Toudgha Gorges with a local guide.
Next, your desert adventure continues as far as the Dades Valley. Here, you can explore the valley and photograph the monkey fingers. Drive through the snaky road of Dades Gorges, one of the most beautiful pieces of road.
Visit the cosmetic co-operatives in Kel’aa M’gouna and explore the Valley of the Roses. Visit the beautifully repaired Kasbah Amredhil, identically placed among the palm trees of Skoura Oasis.
Afterwards, we drive off-road through the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs as far as Ouarzazate. At night, an authentic riad offers dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you drive to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. This is the most famous Kasbah in Morocco and a film local for many Hollywood blockbusters. It is also one of Morocco’s eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will visit the kasbah with a local guide. He will inform you about its history and points out interesting features.
Have lunch in one of the many restaurants on the riverbank overlooking the kasbah. Then, you continue your trip via the beautiful Ounila Valley as far as Kasbah Telouet. Next, you will explore the kasbah with a local guide.
Later, you drive to Marrakech over the High-Atlas Mountains and via the famous Tizi-n-Tichka pass. Along the way, stop at panoramic viewpoints to admire the views of the valleys and the villages. You will arrive in Marrakech by the end of the day. This will mark the end of your Agadir to Marrakech desert tour journey.
